Acne Studios is a Stockholm-based fashion house renowned for its innovative and eclectic approach to design. It blends a minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic with bold artistic expression, often characterized by unconventional silhouettes, experimental textures, and a strong use of color. The brand is known for creating collections that balance avant-garde concepts with wearable pieces, appealing to a global audience of fashion-forward individuals.
In the portfolio I created for Acne Studios, I incorporated a palette that harmonizes with the brand's distinctive collections, reflecting their use of both muted and bold tones. The surface materials I selected not only align with Acne Studios' design ethos but also meet sustainability criteria, allowing them to be considered for SEED qualification. SEED (Sustainable Environmental and Economic Design) qualification is a certification process that recognizes materials and products that adhere to strict environmental and social responsibility standards. By applying these principles, the portfolio showcases a commitment to sustainable design without compromising on the bold, artistic spirit that defines Acne Studios.
